It could be called a boutique hotel, an historic bed & breakfast, a family-friendly suite, a beach vacation, or all of the above. What we loved: Continental breakfast and dining on the sunny patio; a one bedroom (true) suite with kitchenette, bathroom, living room, and separate bedroom; free Wi-Fi and free parking; kids loved the outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi (I was freezing! – it was December!). Bottom Line: We would definitely choose Glorietta Bay Inn for a beach stay in San Diego…

From the time I made my reservations over the phone, to when I checked in, the front desk staff were very pleasant. It was clear that their goal is to make their guests feel very welcomed, and they actually paid attention to the detail I provided as to what we were celebrating (our wedding anniversary)! They left us a nice card in our room along with a bottle of wine & glasses, which was part of the package we reserved. They even gave us a $10 coupon to use at the restaurant where we were going to have our celebration dinner. The daily extended breakfast was very nice, and the afternoon cookies & lemonade were yummy! The location is great, as we were able to walk to shops & restaurants. We would definitely stay there again!

We stayed at the Glorietta Bay Inn for our second time over the Thanksgiving holiday. The property continues to shine, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Coronado. The rooms are spacious, sparkling, and convenient. The breakfast buffet (with a table overlooking the marina) is a delight. The hotel is an easy walk or bike-ride to everything. I will definitely look forward to our next visit to Coronado…and that will definitely include the Glorietta Bay In

No hustle or bustle at this location but close to the beach, stores and restaurants. We experienced a perfect stress free getaway for our anniversary. Tim our concierge was very attentive to our needs. We had a small problem and without any questions he took care of us beyond our expectations. Tim suggested restaurants and made our reservations. He was helpful in giving suggestions for the San Diego sights to visit. The continental breakfast was a great way to start the day, without having to leave the Inn. Customer service is alive at the Glorietta Inn. Something we don’t see much of these days. We will definitely return.
